Chicken Artichoke Pesto Calzones

Don't have the funds to go to Italy? But still want a tasty calzone? I've got just the thing!

Make my amazingly easy crust.

Cut the dough into two even halves.

Roll the dough into circles.

Slather the dough with pesto. I prefer this one:

Then put diced and cooked chicken, along with lots of mozzarella cheese and artichoke hearts. Be sure to only put the chicken, cheese and artichoke hearts on one side since you will have to be folding it on top of itself.




Pinch the ends to ensure the sauce and cheese don't melt out.

Brush olive oil on top. Be sure to mark which one is yours (that way you'll be sure not to give your husband the tastier one...)

Bake 13-15 minutes at 500 degrees.
